I am currently seeking full-time or part-time employment in fulfilling career environment that will fit my abilities while allowing me to expand my professional experiences. While the majority of my career has been spent in college athletics and education settings, I have other varied work experience including Land procurement in Gas & Oil; Corrections positions both as a Counselor, Inmate Observation Specialist, and Academy Instructor in Psychology courses. I owned businesses and operated several tennis academies and community tennis clubs along the way, further enhancing my skills in communications, public relations, sales, and other essential business-related tasks.
Managed and directed all aspects of building a regionally competitive men's and women's tennis program including, but limited to: recruiting, budget, practice and competition, purchasing, scheduling and travel, facility improvement and upkeep, and fundraising efforts. Continued serving on the NCAA D2 Men's Ranking committee, NCAA Operations committee, MEC Tennis Liaison, Atlantic Region Ranking Chair and National ITA rankings committees.
Managed and Directed all aspects of a nationally competitive men's and women's collegiate tennis program including, but not limited to: Recruiting, budget, travel arrangements, competition, hosting multiple events, practice and individual supplementary workouts, stringing, indoor and outdoor facility upkeep and refurbishing, community service and youth programming, and other tasks assigned by the athletic director.
Directed all aspects of a nationally competitive D2 men's and women's tennis program. Rebuilding of both programs to top level in the conference and multiple NCAA and regional rankings, conference titles and national tournament qualification. Recruiting, practice and competition scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, and fundraising. Served on various NCAA, Regional and National ITA committees including the rankings, operations, and competition committees.
As the head coach of a Division I Big East women's tennis program I managed daily practices, competition, scheduling, recruiting, fundraising and compliance, travel requests, hosting multiple tournaments and events, and various promotional assignments as requested by the Athletics Director.
Directed and managed the rebuilding of a D2 men's and women's tennis program into nationally ranked and competitive teams. Multiple NCAA berths, NCAA and ITA rankings, and conference championships. Fostered and nurtured strong community programming and financial support by developing and hosting multiple high level collegiate tournaments at our facility in cooperation with the city. Annual community tennis lessons and volunteer services provided by our program to the area.
Undertaking my first head coaching position at any level, I managed and performed the following duties for a D2 men's and women's program: Recruiting, Budgeting, Travel and scheduling, running practices and competitions, development and community relations, driving for all team travel needs, stringing, purchasing, vendor acquisition, and other duties as assigned by the department in support. Led both teams to first-ever ITA and NCAA rankings, NCAA tournament appearances and conference titles.
