Drove company vehicle and used hand held device to accurately read electric and gas meters. Completed assigned route safely while working independently in a timely manner in all weather conditions. Both meter reading jobs were working out of Shelbyville,KY for companies that had contracts with Kentucky Utilities. One company lost the contract to the other one. With Tru-Check my monthly routes had 7,000 meters. I would usually read it plus 3,000-5,000 more meters with few, if any, misreads. With Scope in addition to reading I trained new employees. Set up and adjusted machine to weld pieces of metal together for auto parts. Used tools to measure the part and the weld to make sure they were within specifications. Inspected each part for defects.
