Key Skills:

  • 14 years of SAW & BAW filter topology experience on different bands from low to ultra high bands, with varying design challenges for small and large signal performance, size & cost.
  • Codesigned with the module team, worked on the laminate section for the acoustic area for optimum performance on impedance match, rejection & isolation & heat dissipation.
  • Experienced on filter codesign for both Tx (load pull, PAE & ACLR, figure of merits and locus size) and Rx (LNA NF & gain)
  • Conducted electromagnetic simulations (HFSS) for loss breakdown and inductor Q improvement and coil sensitivity analysis
  • Power durability & harmonics simulations to ensure large-signal specs compliance

Major accomplishments:

  • BAW B7, B40, B41 codesigned for HB PAMID module meeting targeted IL and critical rejection specs (critical skirt steepness) while keeping smallest BAW size with best layout practices.
  • Lead for BAW n77 & n79 C-Band 5G design experience for both Tx & Rx for a module codesign using non-conventional topologies
  • BAW 6GHz n106 Tx & Rx ultrawide design (1.2 GHz BW) in the smallest die dimensions allowed by fab
