Water polo and dive August 13, 2025 - Present Member of team Water Polo has been a major highlight for me because it has pushed me both physically and mentally while teaching me the importance of teamwork and discipline period competing at both the junior varsity and varsity levels has helped me build resilience, especially in high pressure situations where quick thinking and communication are key. Being part of a team has also strengthened my leadership skills, as I’ve learned how to support my teammates, stay accountable, and contribute to a positive and hard-working environment. Overall, water polo has shaped my ability to stay focused, work through challenges, and lead by example. Diving has been and especially meaningful highlight because of how quickly I was able to grow in the sport through dedication and persistence. Advancing to the varsity level within just 3 months pushed me to stay disciplined and trust the process, even when learning new skills felt challenging. Diving requires a high level of focus, self-confidence, and it has helped me become more comfortable stepping outside my comfort zone. Earning my Letterman jacket through this experience was a reflection of the effort I put in, and it showed me what I’m capable of when I stay committed it to something new.
