Pine Hills Literacy Project- 2018-2021

• Pine Hills is a literacy Nonprofit serving the children of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Lee County. I have learned the importance of investing in the youth of my county by helping them learn, read, and learn to read.

Alternative Student Breaks- December 2020

• Alternative Student Breaks is an organization offering Auburn University students the opportunity to spend part of our winter break serving our community. I sorted, packaged, and labeled food and essentials at the Food Bank of East Alabama to send them out into our community. I also packaged school lunches for children that are food insecure in Lee County. This experience also introduced me to fellow students that are equally as passionate as I am about serving our community.

Pink Out Pickleball- October 2023

• This event was established last year by two classmates and me. We raised money for a local breast cancer awareness foundation.

Gone Fishin'- May 2023, May 2024

• Gone Fishin' is a community service event that hosts special needs students from the Shelby and Jefferson county school systems, ages five to 21 with various physical and mental challenges. They are given the opportunity to fish with the volunteers.

Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy Club Member, 2018-2021

• This Auburn University club has meetings throughout the semester for students to learn more about their future professions. I was fortunate to receive application advice, hear from graduate school staff and students, and learn more about Physical Therapy as a career.

Alpha Epsilon Delta Member, 2018- 2021

• AED is a national honor society for students preparing for careers in a multitude of health professions.

Chi Omega Sorority Member, 2018-2021

• We raised money for our philanthropy, The Make A Wish Foundation, by holding fundraising events throughout the year. Make A Wish is a non-profit that fulfills the wishes of children and adolescents with critical illnesses. Through our hard work, we were able to throw wish parties and even experience one firsthand. The joy on her face was indescribable, and I am forever indebted to my sorority for introducing me to this organization and for providing me with the opportunity to put others first.

Auburn University Dance Marathon Staff Member, 2018-2019

• This student-run organization is partnered with the Children’s Miracle Network to support the Columbus Regional Medical Center. As a staff member, I attended weekly meetings where we discussed events and fundraising goals. The main event is a twelve-hour fundraising push where staff members and participants 'dance for those who can’t'. I learned about children that would give anything to be able to live a life outside of the hospital, and this organization really allowed me to give back to children in my very own community.
