Marlene Niehaus

I was hired by my father to assist in rebuilding and renovating a bathroom. We removed the concrete floor and tiles, replaced the rotting floorboards, and replaced new concrete and tiles on the floor. Then we installed a new bathtub, removed old and replaced new tiles in the shower. Throughout the process, I maintained a safe and clean working environment. I gained experience with hands-on learning including heavy lifting, tiling, grouting, hammering and nailing. I also gained experience in estimating, scheduling, and progression of work.
