In December of 2023, I graduated from the University of Kansas with a B.S. in Behavioral Neuroscience, inspired by a transformative neurosurgery in 2015 that sparked my passion for understanding brain-behavior relationships. During my undergraduate studies, I gained experience in neuroscience and biomedical research. I made the decision to transfer schools mid-pandemic to prioritize in-person learning opportunities and fully immerse myself in my education. After graduating, I explored career paths through substitute teaching and coaching, which helped me discover my passion for mentorship and counseling. I am now applying to master’s programs with the goal of pursuing licensure and practicing in school or clinical settings, where I can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
