Nationally Registered EMT Paramedic with over seven years of experience. Over the past seven years I have worked for Acadian Ambulance, first as an EMT Basic, and then went on to achieve my Paramedic degree. After I obtained my Paramedic I became a Field Training Officer and spent time teaching new hires and students. I am a strong believer in continuing education and taking advantage of opportunities to self improve. My love for the job has led me to teaching and helping others beyond what the job requires whenever possible. For the entirety of my career in EMS I have worked in rural areas which have greatly impacted my clinical skills and knowledge. Due to father transportation times and limited resource, self dependency is sometimes all that is available. It has also helped to strengthen communication skills, due to working in these areas I have been met with the challenge of working with people I have never worked with until the most vital of times in other lives where error in communication can be detrimental.
