My background is mainly in the marine service field. I worked at my father’s restaurant for a long time before I realized I wanted to switch gears. My decision was mainly driven by the desire to work outside, use my hands, and have new tasks, and learning experiences every day. I was born and raised in Florida and I have come very accustomed to the weather and working conditions. My current employment has been severely affected by the recent hurricanes and management has all of the employees in limbo waiting for insurance, inspections, etc. Nobody knows when we will be fully operational so I’m taking the opportunity to start looking for another job.
