• I was a teaching assistant in a co-teach preschool classroom. I assisted in daily supervision of 19 preschool students. I helped lead small group lessons daily. I offered one-on-one assistance to students needing additional support. I worked closely with general education teachers, special education staff, and related service providers to ensure a cohesive approach to student support. I helped implement classroom routines that promoted positive behavior and happy and safe learning environment.

I worked in an ECSE classroom with 3 and 4 year olds. We worked on creating daily schedules for each individual student. We used visuals, picture exchange and token boards to help each student based on their needs and preferred items.

I was a paraprofessional in a self-contained classroom. I helped provide intensive behavior intervention and social skills instruction to amazing students with emotional and behavioral needs. I helped assist the teacher in small and large group lessons. I took small groups to general education classrooms for inclusion as well as joined their peers for PE, Art, Music and Theater. I Utilized de-escalation techniques and positive reinforcement to manage and reduce challenging behaviors. I helped create daily schedules ,made task boxes and file folder activities based on the needs of the students.

I was hired as an Assistant and offered a Lead Teaching position. I was in charge of implementing the Primrose Curriculum. Each day we completed different activities which include reading, writing, Math, Art and Physical Fitness. We did daily assessments and kept a portfolio for each child. We sent home daily reports to the parents. I did all this as well as love, nurture, and help my sweet children grow and learn every day.
