Preparing the operating room for surgery, assisting the surgical team during procedures, ensuring a safe and sterile environment, pre-operative and post-operative care, educate patients and their families about procedures, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible patient care.

• Working closely with my preceptor to administer medications accurately and safely, take vital signs, assist with patient ambulation, check blood glucose, deliver support services to patients and the nursing unit

• Managed over 60 calls a day, scheduling appointments as accordingly in our Epic EMR system, sending task and messages to the designated person, interpersonal skills between the physicians and staff, scanning documents and chart prepping, money handling, medical records processing, referral processing

• Register patients by obtaining and inputting accurate client information into the EMR software, answer phones, direct calls, collect co-pays and deductibles, schedule patient appointments and check out patients, insure a high level of patient of patients satisfaction by maintaining professional demeanor
