• For the senior Design project, I diligently worked on designing The Omni Hotel in Boston. A two building Hotel, each building consists of 23 floors. The hotel was designed to have 1000 rooms and two ballrooms. I successfully determined the dead loads and live loads for each room, what material will be used, calculated beams and columns forces, designed core walls, calculated wind load, and finally proposed successfully a cost estimation of the entire project.

I excelled at using the following softwares while conducting the project: AutoCAD, Profis Hilti, Vitruvius and Risa Structural Software.

Profis Hilti was used for the concrete design and core walls, while Risa and Vitruvius were used to calculate the loads on the core walls, beams and joists. as well as the usage of the safety factors.

AutoCAD was used to redraw all the renderings for the floors.
