Graduated from Clark Atlanta University with a degree in History. After graduating, worked with Hands On Atlanta and was placed at Crawford Long Middle School, where I tutored students in Math and Language Arts. After a year, I became a teacher at Hapeville Charter School where I taught Social Science for three years. From there I became a substitute teacher in Dekalb County and worked my way up to an educator position. I unfortunately had to take a leave of absence based upon my mother's illness which she was placed in hospice in 2022 and passed away. Since my leave of absence, I have not had the opportunity to become employed and have not gave up my battle to teach and inspire the youth.
