Marquise Payne

During the summer months, as a student worker for the Secretary of State, I have processed customers in a timely manner, handled escalated situations without failure, and I have been able to effectively lighten the burden on both full-time and intermittent workers. My job at the Secretary of State facility also consisted of me checking for flaws within applications, significantly helping with the upkeep of office spaces, and making sure most areas were sanitized during the pandemic. In addition to these things I have:

• Completed assigned duties and consistently produced high volume of work to support daily business needs.
• Adhered to strict security protocols to protect data confidentiality.
• Examined legal documents and assured adherence to laws and court procedures.

I am currently a Lead of part-time recreation staff at Leyden Township community center. This has allowed me to partake in new experiences and responsibilities which include:

• Supervising groups of children between ages of 4 and 14 in basketball, baseball and other sports activities.
• Initiating creative ideas and keeping recreation programs entertaining and refreshing.
• Assigning work to team members and evaluating performance against standards.
• Mentoring staff and students in safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Maintaining and managing cleanliness of the facility to obtain a more comfortable work environment.
