As the Operations Manager being responsible to manage Driver Associate, Dispatchers and admin assistants and act as a liaison between all departments, Amazon corporate staff, quality control, and company ownership. The Operations Manager will be focused on business strategy, fleet maintenance, route planning, occupational safety and employee relations and development. Organize delivery routes to maximize resources, staffing and vehicle availability and profitability, adjusting temporarily or permanently as needed. Maintain vehicle paperwork and files of preventative and corrective maintenance ensure that all DAs are consistently completing pre & post trip inspections, ensure complete and accurate reporting on all vehicle accidents; file and manage insurance claims when necessary, the ability to anticipate and facilitate corrections to staffing, vehicle allocation and route assignments based on availability of resources. Analyze data from reports and direct observation of employee performance to suggest and implement improvements within the organization. Resolve customer service issues as necessary.
Provides a full range of administrative, technical range, and clerical support services for the Installation Operations Center.Responsible for meeting established deadlines. Independently plans and carries out work in accordance with applicable guidelines. Provides Support Services for various key tasks, which require detailed understanding of Emergency Operation Center procedures. Disseminates safety information, i.e., severe weather warnings and watches, heat categories, fire danger status, and aircraft over flight. Ensures safety messages are understood and actions taken as required. Receives visitors and telephone calls to the office. Determines the nature of the requests and directs the callers to appropriate person. Personally, provides information desired involving routine or procedural matters of the Installation Operation Center. Responds to routine and non-technical requests for information such as status of official and nonofficial reports, suspense dates for matters requiring compliance, and similar information readily available from files and knowledge of the commitments and priorities of the Installation Operation Center. Determines whether to release the information based upon the nature of the sensitivity of the information and the authority to receive the information. Responsible to initiate and conduct equipment checks or minor maintenance on all emergency communication equipment associated with emergency management.
