I started in the men’s department and there I learned how to merchandise both hard and soft lines, provide good customer service and work quickly but effectively in order to have a good recovery. Over time I have gained more responsibility and am currently the coordinator of the home department. With this position I have learned what its like to be in a leadership role. This has helped me learn how to work with my team, to give clear and concise direction, and always look for opportunities to improve my department. In addition to these roles I have also covered many shifts as the Customer Engagement Coordinator. This position has allowed me to learn how to multitask in high stress situations as well as handle customer concerns in a respectful and timely manner.
