During my time at OBI, I have performed the following duties and responsibilities: reate a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all participants. Collaborate with the Athletic Director and other on-site staff to ensure the safety of all participants. Develop and deliver developmentally appropriate activity camp lesson plans/activities in the subject area of basketball to age groups ranging from skills such as dribbling, shooting, passing, defense, etc. Collaborate with the Athletic Director to manage the behavioral concerns of all participants. Use critical thinking to problem-solve as well as maintain a camp-appropriate professional appearance. Daily set-up, take down, and cleaning of space. Provide mentorship and positive role modeling to players on and off the court. Oversee a group of 20 players on-court and provide timely feedback, reminders, and encouragement. Assist with demonstrations of Oneida Baptist concepts and habits on-court. Provide supervision in the dorms and assist with other off-court duties and create a strong connection with players on and off the court, including during meals.
