I have 30 years in manufacturing production. Of those 30 years I have 26 years of supervisor / management rolls. I worked on the production floor the first 4 years at waupaca. In that roll, I always looked for easier, safer and more productive ways to do our daily tasks. Going unnoticed I was offered a foreman roll in that department. In which I started on third shift and eventually became the foreman of all three shifts consisting of 54 employees. While in this roll I continued to drive safer, easier and more productive ways for the department. Along with that I worked to help other departments to drive down scrap and improve production for the plant. Again not going unnoticed. I was offered supervisor/manager roll in 2005 continuous improvement, lean six sigma, 5s, Lean manufacturing, Kaizen, cost reduction initiatives and process flow. I continue to work directly with factory floor workers, teams, and peers to improve scrap, drive production, and eliminate waste through out the plant.
