My job at this ice cream shop is to scoop ice cream with a friendly demeanor and I can confidently say I delivered that successfully. Starting conversations with customers and amazing children with my flipping ice cream skills proves I am capable of conversing with my customers with ease. Additionally, I handled heavy duty labor such as lifting heavy boxes of toppings and standing in the freezer organizing all of the ice cream tins.

Before college, I devoted my summer to work at a summer daycare aiding a teacher with her toddler students. My job entailed me to work on their motor skills and communication skills amongst each other. It required a great deal of patience, as a result by the end of the summer I had seen a growth in the way I interact with younger children, approaching them with a more gentle and patient demeanor.
