- Ensures all team members are adequately trained and capable to perform job responsibilities in a safe and compliant manner.
- Insures ordering and all required reports are completed accurately and on time.
- Ensures that food items are stored in a safe and hazard free manner.
- Ensures all employees know and follow all rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the correctional facility.
- Resolve and respond to all grievances within 48 hours of received.
- Ensure all credited product is returned back into inventory properly.
- Maintain an open relationship and act as a liaison with BSO and KEEFE group
- Attend monthly, BSO Captains meetings at the correctional site as required.
- Process weekly time sheets for submission to payroll and maintain attendance calendars and employee files for on-site staff.
- Perform required Employee performance reviews for Commissary staff.
- Maintain all areas/product/equipment in a neat, clean, orderly manner.
- Attend required annual on-site security classes and remain current in required certifications.
- Ensure all employees follow the policies and procedures outlined in the TKC Handbook.
- Cash out MAIN jail intake stations once a week and make sure machines are operable.
- Assist the BSO supervisor on the FMV project and put together the FMV books that are presented to the client in January and July.
