I have received several awards for my outstanding communication skills, including recognition for providing exceptional hands-on welding training for employees from different backgrounds and ethnicities, resulting in 100% success rate post training for 3 ½ years. All certifications were to military standards.

Human Capital Group First Prize Directors Award

Martha Hale, Training Specialist from Tacoma winner of the Human Capital Group First- Prize Director’s Award for developing a welding apprenticeship program at Tacoma to address a critical skills shortage. Bradken’s Tacoma foundry was facing challenges in recruiting qualified welders needed to meet the unique demands of its Military and industrial customers. To address this, Martha led the development of a specialized apprenticeship program that offers comprehensive training
blending classroom theory with hands-on experience to build a dedicated workforce specifically trained in the required skills. Martha's unwavering enthusiasm for and commitment to the apprentice program at Tacoma has resulted in a number of benefits. The program has not only addressed the site’s workforce challenges but also led to notable improvements in quality standards and production efficiency.
