MARTHA ZAVALA

• Started as a general worker, moved to account for televisions, learned to pick, generate labels, and prepare products for transportation, appointed leader of unloading team, managed reception, shipping, invoices, personnel management, and training new employees.

At Macys I am a Sr. Lead and my duties are to organize the staff for the shipping and receiving areas of the account. In addition, I must be aware of the jecks area and the label printing system... I lead the start-of-shift meetings to give general instructions to the employees about the work plan and safety measures, if there is any inconvenience with the sorter dwbo I am in charge of keeping the employees busy with other activities. Macys has 2 areas and in the other the picking and packing of merchandise is carried out in that area I am an auxiliary as a lead and sometimes it is my responsibility to put away or replan the merchandise since I handle the industrial machines, at the end of the night I must deliver production reports of the shift and leave everything ready for the next shift.

En Macys soy un Sr Lead y mis funciones son organizar el personal para las areas de shipping y receiving de la cuenta. ademas debo estar pendiente del area de jecks y del sistema de printeo de labels…. yo dirijo las reuniones de inicio de turno para dar instrucciones generales a los empleados sobre el plan de trabajo y medidas de seguridad, si se presenta algun incoveniente con el sorter dwbo encargarme de manetener a los empleados ocupados en otras actividades. Macys tiene 2 areas y en la otra se lleva a cabo el picking y packing de mercancia en esa area suelo auxiliar como lead y en ocasiones me corresponde hacer put away o replanishmen de la mercancia dado que manejo las maquinas industriales, al final de la noche debo entregar reportes de produccion del turno y dejar todo listo para el siguiente turno

• Worked as an inventory assistant, learned the process to keep inventory up to date, updated inventory manually and systematically, relied on learning in topics such as Put away, managed Cherry Picker and Stand up for higher levels of the racks.

• Dedicated as a food production line leader, organized work teams, prepared production reports, managed movements with Warehouse, delivered production reports to the manager, made labels for palletizing products.
