  • Responsible for the procurement of supplies, services and construction projects for 40 National Park Service (NPS) sites encompassing Arizona, Missouri, Arkansas, and Illinois
  • Supervises a team of nine employees located at various locations throughout the United States.
  • Utilizes over 30 years of federal procurement experience to mentor employees through weekly training and one-on-one discussions with a goal of maximizing individual career growth and advancement along with enhancing job understanding.

  • Arizona MABO Lead, Supervisory Contract Specialist and FAC-C Level Ill Certified Contracting Officer with a $25M COA.
  • Oversaw a dynamic team of eight members that ranged in experience from little experience to seasoned Contracting Officers.
  • Team was responsible for the cradle to grave award of over 480 procurement actions supporting 22 National Park Service locations in Arizona.
  • Team obligated over $32M in awarded contracts which included a total of 481 award actions.
  • Lead Contract Specialist in the award of a $64M shuttle bus contract for Grand Canyon National Park which was the largest contract ever awarded in the NPS Intermountain Region.
  • Facilitated acquisition of six urgent contracts for Glen Canyon National Recreation Area in response to Lake Powell's historically low water levels which included the urgent procurement of a $700K water filtration system to address arsenic contamination. Ensuring thousands of people in the park and local community had safe drinking water for consumption.
