• Leading WW operational execution of IBM Financing Accounting (IBMF) by administering teams sitting in the U.S., Buenos Aires, Bratislava and Kuala Lumpur.

• 10,000+ hours saving through specific simplification and transformation projects in last 2 years (negotiating CIO owned system enhancements, KCFR simplification, manual workarounds elimination,...).

• Led the GEO accounting teams through supervision of accounting tasks and by fostering collaboration and professional growth for improved performance.
• Cooperated with the HQ Accounting team in successful closing of the books.
• Supervised month-end consolidated reports to secure completeness and accuracy.
• Completed reported period closing processes with controllers and external auditors.

Key Achievement:

• Implementation of the New Lease Standard ASC842 in 2019, going beyond EMEA/AP coverage and securing effective setup of WW execution design.

• Project Trek goal was to move IBM Financing business into the standalone legal entities that operated under the overall Credit LLC structure.
• Led cross regional accounting project team to secure the expected design is optimal for end to end accounting process.
• Represented the WW accounting as a member of project management office
• Guided and overlooked migration of existing IBMF portfolios to the new entities, same as calculation of sale price and respective communication to cross-function executive teams.

Key Achievement:

• Successful completion of the project (36 new entities, $40B portfolio) and implementation of new accounting processes to support the new structure.

• Managed transition of first four IBMF Accounting teams from Budapest IBMF Center to IBM Accounting Center in Bratislava as a part of accounting centralization effort.
• Secured the proper training and documentation transfer.
• Led the standardization and harmonization activities to meet the standards of WW Accounting.
• Daily management of the team as a first line manager.

• Successful transition of initial 30+ roles with focus on immediate enhancements without major impact on relationship with existing stakeholders.

• Started as junior accountant and moved through Team Leader role to an Accounting Manager, leading teams with various GEOs scope.

• Successful transition of Americas Fixed Assets Operations roles from Bratislava to Shenzhen, China.
