Martin Monteblanco

I was honored to be elected by the Board of Directors to serve on this committee alongside a team of dedicated flight attendants from across the industry. Our work focuses on establishing and advocating for our legislative priorities. Additionally, fundraising, organizing, and political endorsements are integral components of our committee's efforts.

As the Government Affairs Chairperson, it is my responsibility to support our Local Executive Council Presidents (LECPs) and local committee chairs as needed. We collaborate with flight attendants across the industry to advance our legislative priorities. In my role as chair, I focus on fostering solidarity within the labor community and working closely with international AFA.

As an Aviation First Responder, I am dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of all passengers and crew on board. My primary responsibilities include:

- Conducting thorough pre-flight inspections of safety equipment to ensure compliance with aviation safety standards.
- Being trained and prepared to handle medical emergencies, providing immediate assistance and care when needed.
- Delivering exceptional inflight service, maintaining a comfortable and safe environment for all passengers.
- Collaborating with the flight crew to respond effectively to any safety or emergency situations that may arise.

As a Next Generation Representative, my primary responsibility was to support fellow labor leaders in advocating for our members. This involved teaching essential skills in mobilization, organization, and providing a foundational understanding of union history.
