• Conduct safety Induction & safety meeting for new employees
• Conducting Tool box talk &Pre-Task Briefing for all workers before going to work. Identify unsafe act and unsafe conditions. Report the same to HSE head.
• Investigate accident, Incident including near misses and determine probable causes and develop appropriate safety measures to prevent recurrence of similar incidents.
• Prepare inspection and maintenance schedules of firefighting and safety equipment's.
• Monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations and developing measures to assure personnel safety
• Check that the work permit is complete and signed off, ensure safety precautions mentioned in permit is fulfilled before start of work.
• Inspecting all the fire extinguishers on monthly basis.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Stop any unsafe acts or process that seem dangerous or unhealthy.
• Carry out PTW monitoring and review.
• Maintain daily and weekly observation report and submit to HSE manager.
• Participating in safety officers walk through at site (As required by the client)
• Verify that all tools /Equipment's are adequate and safe for use.
• Train and advice employers and all relevant workers on issues of workplace safety and environmental protection.
• Ensure that all the welfare facilities are available at work site.
• Creating different frameworks that will reduce accidents and improve workplace safety.
• Communicate the above records to planners for inclusion in the Monthly Reports.
• Participate in all safety committee meeting conducted by contractors
