Passionate and dedicated professional with over 8 years of experience as a registered nurse in the acute care setting. After graduating from nurse practitioner school in 2022, I entered a one-year advanced practice provider critical care fellowship, which will conclude in November 2024. I am now seeking to join a team that is respectful and prioritizes the best patient outcomes.
The Penn State Health Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider (APP) fellowship is a post – graduate, transition to practice training program for physician assistants and acute care nurse practitioners who have a sincere interest in a career as a Critical Care APP. The 12-month program includes clinical rotations through Penn State Health’s adult Critical Care units. In addition, clinical experiences with services that are integral in supporting. During which I worked an average of 40 hours per week clinically. In addition to the variety of clinical experiences, there were didactic sessions as well as hands on training in our high-fidelity simulation lab. Learning was also enhanced using on- line learning modules, case conferences, evidenced based readings and journal clubs.

Total Patient Care including: Patient assessment/education, Communication, Discharge planning and teaching, Care plan, Needs assessment, Multidisciplinary team collaboration, Cardiac monitoring/12 lead EKG, CVC line management, Phlebotomy, IVA insertion, Medication admin, etc.
