  • As an Entry Controller, it is my responsibility to make sure personnel have the authority to come onto the installation. I achieve this by maintaining positive control of my post, while also using the DBIDS scanners to allow personnel members access to the installation.
  • As an Interior Security Response Team (ISRT) my response time does not exceed 3 minutes. I am also aware of my Use of Force (AFI 31-117) and understand how to use the minimum force necessary to resolve the situation at hand to the best of my ability.
  • As an Exterior Security Response Team (ESRT) I actively patrol the 138th Fighter Wing Installation, while also maintaining a response time of 5 minutes or less to the restrictive area.
  • As an Entry Controller point for LIMA 2, it is my responsibility to use AF 1109 (Visitor Register Log) for all contractors gaining access to be able to work on the MTC building.
  • As Alpha 1 it is my responsibility to provide vigilant security to the restricted area, while also guarding all PL resources within the assigned AO and ensuring all personnel within the restricted area have the proper credentials.
  • Continually reviewing Security Forces weapons and equipment such as the M-4 Carbine, M-203 Grenade Launcher, M-9 Beretta Pistol, M249 Machine Gun, and the M-240B Heavy Machine Gun.

Experience with Base Entry Controller and commercial vehicle inspection duties. I have been properly trained and have effectively executed this by verifying the validity and identity of individuals attempting to gain access to the installation. Trained and practiced in searching commercial vehicles to help safeguard the personnel and resources within the installation.

Experience defending personnel, equipment, and resources from hostile attack. Experienced in challenging hostile persons or individuals that potentially pose a threat to personnel, protected information, and/or aircraft on the military installation.
