Responsible for the training and retraining of bus drivers and/or any district employee who shall drive a school bus, as well as special needs assistants and crossing guards. Teaches defensive driving and other programs. Assists with accident investigations. Prepare and revise curriculum for new employee orientation and assign new employee mentors. Conduct ongoing training for all personnel as needed. Serve as the first level of contact for safety and training for all transportation employees. Performs all behind the wheel evaluations for drivers and on-site evaluations for crossing guards. Prepare and update department records. Assign and submit entry level driver training(ELDT) modules. Highlighted responsibilities included simultaneously planning, executing and managing maintenance operations for 3 infantry companies. Implementing and supporting programs such as the Family Readiness Group, Wounded Warriors, and Army Casualty Program in which I advocated the well being and success of hundreds of soldiers and their families. Serving as Module Chief and Instructor of the Wheeled Vehicle Mechanics course. Providing technical oversight for the quality assurance of select units. Serving as CSM of Rear Detachment.
