Accomplishments

  • Supervised team of 3 staff members, and 4 Consultants.
  • Resolved tension issues in South Lebanon by acting on causes of tension and implementing interventions to resolve conflicts.
  • I was also able to located and return more than $200,000 upon auditing Nigeria banks accounts related to JAT Offshore that were mistakenly thought to be customs costs and commissions by JAT Offshore Management and Nigeria Staff.
  • I was able to publish the first article published by RHU in an international Journal, a conference took place in the Philippines took place to discuss the article where the chairman of business college at RHU had to be present to discuss it. I was also able to work on other 6 articles to be published in International Journals for a total of 7.
  • I negotiated with Khoury-Home for terms of providing Inkript staff with special discounts on selected items of the home appliances department. I also negotiated Mimosa, so they can provide us with high quality packaging material, being more expensive than other suppliers, my negotiation was about providing Mimosa with paper and cardboard by products used by Mimosa, thus providing mimosa for cheaper raw material for production I return for lower price of packaging material similar to other suppliers.
  • I worked alone on the COOP and Placement Program, I was able to increase the database of partner companies, firms, and entities providing internship opportunities to RHU students, by more than 50% in 10 months. In addition to attending meetings with employers and internship providers to negotiate terms of internship with them. I was also able to conduct seminars to more than 250 students in 3 campuses in Lebanon (Mechref Main Campus – Bekaa – Tripoli), discussing the topics of creating a CV, attending an Interview, and code of conduct and ethics at the work place. In addition to finding suitable internship opportunities for 221 student around Lebanon, in position in Lebanon and abroad, in 10 months only.
  • Provided training, support, and guidance to Syrian CSOs working on collecting information about missing Syrians during the conflict in Syrian since 2011, and even before. The skill and experience of the Syrian CSOs did increase sharply due to the mentoring I provided, and our data system results showed so.
  • I managed a full project, under service agreement with FIIAPP, aiming to support municipalities in Lebanon to adopt a new municipal police regulatory framework. So, I managed a team of 4 experts, and managed relations with a donor, and multiple municipalities.
