Judicial Commissioners determine probable cause to issue arrest warrants based upon sworn testimony. They also issue search warrants, juvenile petitions, and criminal summons, assign conditions of release of bail, set bail and court dates, and review and order involuntary commitments for mental health treatment. Review and issue Order Of Protections (OOP).

As an LAPD officer, I performed proactive community policing, patrol in cars or on foot, investigate crimes, arrest suspects, and handle traffic incidents to reduce crime and ensure safety.As a LAPD Detective, I often worked plainclothes, specialize in investigating serious crimes like sexual assault, Crimes Against Persons, Domestic Violence and Autos, gathering evidence, and analyzing records to build cases.Both roles as a police officer and promoting to the rank of detective entail rigorous documentation, evidence collection, and court testimony.
