I was the sole primary care/sports medicine physician working with 6 orthopedic surgeons.
My responsibilities included the evaluation and treatment of non-surgical musculoskeletal issues in teenage through geriatric patients.
I have extensive experience in acute and chronic orthopedic injury patterns, including extremity and spinal issues.
I am also experienced with conservative fracture management and joint injections.
I was responsible for x-ray interpretation.
I worked in a clinic with a high patient volume.
In 2020, I completed training from the National Osteoporosis Foundation for the Fracture Liaison Service.
My goal was to implement the identification and treatment of patients at risk for osteoporosis.
Patients who were identified at risk preoperatively, or sustained a fracture, were scheduled for follow-up with me for evaluation, management and treatment.
I also served as team physician for Parma, Valley Forge and Normandy High Schools.
I covered the varsity football games and organized the pre-participation physicals in the spring.
I collaborated with other physicians covering Barons junior hockey and Holy Name high school football.
I have a lifelong interest both personally and professionally in sports, health and wellness.
I am truly grateful to be a member of the Cleveland Clinic staff.
I have a strong work ethic, and have developed the skills and knowledge base that would be a positive contribution to your practice.
