Summary

Throughout a 27 year career, I have maintained a passion for educating and helping children develop as people. I have taught grades 2-5 in the same elementary building since 1997 and helped to create as well as foster a safe, productive school environment for children of all ages. I have been able to differentia curriculum as well as implementing a complete flexible seating classroom. While teaching, I continue to take courses, participate in professional development and remain current on the ever changing climate in education. As and elementary school teacher with expertise in early education, child development and collaborative teaching methods, I am regarded as a mentor to other teachers and considered a Master Teacher in my field.
