I am a self taught, gardener, taught by my ,Mother & Grandmothers. We grew much of our own food. Eight siblings. Over the years i have found gardening connects me with our Earth & our food source. I grow mostly organic from seeds and share with my widowed neighbors.

I create my own fresh cut flowers and share as well. I believe in connecting with the Community in small, kind ways.

Walking trails in Parks & Gardens are my passion. Looking very much forward to visiting, Shelby Gardens.

My youngest daughter is an Artist and she shared so many things with me, her work inspired me.

COVID 2020

Covid hit our store & community hard. I no longer saw my young families with their babies, i became very ill with my stomach and i got very sad. I have lost dear friends. My girlfriend & her husband both passed away together. My mother who in a private home and i stood ouside for the past year visiting her, lock down was so sad and yet it was so good for me, shut totally down,i grew spiritually, emotionally & mentally rested. So i decided to retire early and go, "home", i have waited 15 years to get to Siesta. I have spent many a moons visiting.

My year of Covid 19 Pandemic was challenging both personally and professionally, as the entire world struggled.

I feel i had a huge impact on the safety precautions and I was able to convince the Team Leaders to provide my co-workers with more protection. We got it done. We were tight. When problems arise, we pulled together & listened & worked together to come up with a solution, a Whole Foods, motto.

I am grateful for my life , family and friends.
