  • These four years were spent teaching clinical open heart surgery preceptorship as well as running the open heart program for the medical center. When I started this job, the open heart surgery program had been suspended so it was a great challenge to get out of the suspension and have the program restarted. This allowed me to learn about all the federal and state as well as medical regulations surrounding a cardiac surgery program in order to successfully restart the program.
