Prepared uniforms and other equipment for scrimmages, game days, and practices using organizational and time management skills

On game days assist with warm-up drills, setting up meals and media equipment, and retrieving vital equipmen. This has greatly increased my ability to anticipate others' needs.

Worked in tandem with an elementary school teacher to lead a classroom of second to fourth graders. Used classroom management to lead the whole class through reading curriculum. Enhanced student understanding by providing one-on-one tutoring sessions in reading. Additionally, helped lead the math and science station which required brainstorming and executing lesson plans to excite kids about STEM.

Students at Genesis all came from extremely difficult backgrounds. Due to the nature of this home lives, emotional support was also a skill I practiced everyday at this position.

Prepped the lab for the weekly lab section by setting up lab equipment and needed materials as well as preparing material to give the weekly lecture during this time to teach my peers important biology lab concepts. During the lab, my responsibilities included overseeing groups of my peers, giving demos to enhance understanding, and providing any assistance needed. I was also responsible for grading assignments and presentations. All of this was done in tandem with another TA which required great communication and team work abilities.
