Additional Experience

I have done two semester long practicums, in undergraduate studies, through the education program at the University of Tennessee. The first involved observing a second grade and fifth grade classroom, and assisting the teacher with facilitating small group instruction. The second involved working with a first grade student in foundational literacy, specifically with decoding. I gave the student diagnostic tests, analyzed the results, and created a sequence of lessons in response to her assessment data.
