• Provides creative and individualized interventions and treatments to improve a child's ability to interact and participate in the classroom environment and improve their ability to perform daily living and classroom tasks as independent as possible. Manages a caseload with children aged 3-21 with a variety of disabilities including developmental delays, ASD, CP, genetic disorders, Down's Syndrome, medical complexities and cortical vision impairments.
• Document progress accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements including quarterly reports, daily notes. medicaid/semi billing and IEP's.

• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members for comprehensive care and optimal results. This includes participating in team meetings, pushing into the classroom and providing co-treatment sessions with other related service therapists, when appropriate
• Participates in continuing education opportunities to stay current with industry trends and best practices in occupational therapy.
• Creates, maintains and adapts equipment needed for increased performance or environmental accommodations. This includes seating modifications, splints and adaptive equipment.
• Provides yoga, mindfulness and self-regulation groups.

• Managed a large caseload of children ages 2-10 with a variety of disabilities. Provided individual and small group services, utilized standardized and non-standardized testing annually and provided daily documentation.
• Worked as in early intervention provider in the homes for the 0-3 population
• Worked on a preschool transition team providing standardized testing and recommending appropriate services for a children transitioning out of early intervention or preschool.
