Mary Gronevelt

  • I have been fortunate in my working career to have worked for industrious companies. I started out at a gas station and learned about people, cars and mechanics. From there I went on to a company that sold supplies to printing companies. I learned how printing presses worked and how the products I sold created transferred images onto paper, magazines and billboards. After that I worked at a chemical company, Univar USA. I started in the office learning about how chemicals are applied to different manufacturers of computer chips, food grade products and environmental applications. I was very interested in how a Rabi blesses the food grade chemicals. From the office I was sent for training to become a chemical lab technician. I learned how to do chemical blends, testing the chemicals in different testing machines like a Gas Chromatograph, Density meter and Karl Fisher for water content. I also did allot of formulas. My most recent work experience was at a thermal power plant for Invenergy Services, based out of Chicago. Through all the above listed jobs, I had been streamlining the inventory procedures on different software systems. This proved to be where my expertise came alive. I wore many hats as the Site administrator at Invenergy and learned more than I expected about power plants, electricity and mechanics by my purchasing and inventory experience. I am always a team player and repetition is one of my strong points.
  • Dedicated to my work.
  • I play tennis and do wood working in my spare time.
