I have many years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant which enhances my ability to teach students in clinical knowledge. The past 6 years I have developed my teaching skills in a CTE focused high school preparing students for nursing and medical programs. I have also used 3-D anatomy and sim labs to prepare students for hospital rotations. I have worked closely with hospital staff to coordinate opportunities for students.
I have taught the following subjects: Medical Terminology, Principles of Health Science, Health Science Theory and General Skills Practicum. I also coordinate and supervise
clinical rotations at THR (Harris) hospital in Fort Worth, Texas.

I taught dual credit Mansfield Students a Physical Therapy Technician course. Also assisted with a vision fair. The following year had an opportunity to teach a portion of the Central Sterile Processing course until staff was obtained..
I have developed a variety of project based lesson plans to engage students with hands on learning activities I especially like to incorporate patient care skills into lesson plans
