• Developed time management skills with multiple patient assignments within a PCU. Completed observations in OR and Endoscopy.

Critical Care — Lakeland Regional Hospital (140 hr)

• Strengthened critical thinking skills with high acuity patients on a Trauma unit. Completed observations in CVICU and ER.

Community Health  — Various Community Locations (70 hr)

• Demonstrated knowledge of community programs and resources among free clinics, health fairs, elementary schools, and memory care facilities.

Mental Health — Lakeland Regional Hospital (70 hr)

• Engaged in therapeutic communication within milieu therapy environments on Geriatric and Adult Behavioral Health units. Completed observations in Music Therapy, Group Therapy, ECT, and Court.

Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital — Float Pool (168 hr)

• Demonstrating critical thinking skills and compassionate care on Hematology/Oncology, NICU, SECU, ER, and Surgical/Neuro units. Performing assessments, administering medications, therapeutic communication, and documenting care in the pediatric and neonatal environments. Developing independence, confidence, and readiness to enter professional nursing practice.
