●. In my role as a mechanical and structural engineer, I performed stress analysis for numerous parts on spacecraft. I utilized several different software including Creo View, NASTRAN, PATRAN, NASGRO, CATIA, and Excel to analyze and optimize designs.

• As a systems engineer intern, it was my responsibility to support installation, configuration, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools. I gained heavy adaptability skills working with diverse teams every day such as weld engineering, propulsion, test, avionics, the Chief engineer office, etc.

• As a QE intern, I utilized skills such as data analysis, data storage, root cause analysis, PFMEA, and Excel—especially using pivot tables. I tackled jobs such as reviewing processes/operations and creating plans using data as well as the thoughts of those on the shop floor to make those processes more efficient and impactful. During this time I went through the Quality College curriculum offered by Boeing to learn about Quality engineering and Six Sigma.

• My responsibilities as a coding instructor included teaching children from ages 8-14 how to code using flow blocks, accommodating for the teacher’s needs in the virtual classroom, creating a fun and upbeat environment, and creating an awareness of the lack of women in STEM. I learned how to empower young students in what they love and developed the soft skills necessary to collaborate efficiently with others.
