Worked in Wayne County Public Schools with: administration, faculty, support staff, families and students to create data driven individual student EL research-based support plan. SIOP based strategies with differentiation were utilized to increase student EL acquisition. Presented professional development to staff incorporating data and best SIOP interventions per individual student. Also, annually helped coordinate, and administer WIDA.

Developed family events to inform our school community of the EL Program, encouraging their support.

Worked in summer school programs, supporting faculty to best engage EL learners, based on data.

Designed and implemented highly successful Virtual Summer Programs in both enrichment, and in homework comprehension and completion for virtual EL students.

Received on- going professional development in diversity, and implicit bias training.
