Act as RN to physicians in OBGYN practice. Assist the MD as needed by educating patients on the treatment plan and follow up. Review charts for accuracy and route orders and results to the correct location using several different computer programs and applications. Keep teaching rooms organized and make educational folders and bulletin boards for obstetric patients.

Care for women and infants in the mother/ baby setting Including post operative cesarean section. Provide education regarding breastfeeding, infant care and postpartum care. Assess both women and infants . Assist in procedure including circumcisions. Follow orders and care plans provided by the physician to assure the best possible patient outcome.

Performed in home care of the patient providing a variety of medical treatments including wound, catheter and PICC line care. Educated the patient and caregiver on medications and diagnosis.  Communicated with physician and other members of the health care team to obtain the best possible outcome for the patient.
