I always knew that I wanted to work in the medical field but never thought I would get there. I got pregnant at a very young age and dropped out of school to raise my Son, but I did not give up on my education. I started taking GED classes in 1994, ( same year my Son was born ) and I took the classes on and off until I finally graduated 2016. I had a few jobs before getting where I wanted to be, which was the medical field. I love being able to help others when they are hurt or sick. I always come to work on time and never late
My job is direct patient care, from passing out trays, getting vitals, blood sugars, drawing blood, bathing and keeping them clean. I get rooms ready when we have new admits as well as strip them when patients discharge
Assist with meals, feed residents that were unable to feed themselves, assist with baths, keep residents clean and dry and assist with their daily activities
