Finding a career to fulfill my passion to work with animals didn’t come right away. I thought I wanted to become a Vet Tech but once I decided to try and go to school for it I quickly realized it didn’t involved enough time with the animal as I had hoped. Then I found out about grooming. I started out bathing dogs for another groomer. After quickly learning the ropes of bathing I continued to learn grooming from her. Within a couple of months I was taking on my own clients. We also attended seminars across the country which also helped expand my techniques.
Full time groomer, bathed, dried and prepped my own clients as well.
Co owned salon, full time groomer, bathed, dried and prepped all dogs.
Started as a full time bather, worked under an apprenticeship and became a full time groomer.
Worked cashiers, stocked shelves, helped shoppers when needed.
I have created very amazing relationships with my clients over the years Some have followed me from the very beginning Some have become my friends I take my client relationships very seriously and treat their dogs like they are my own I have a way with the senior dogs by understanding their bodies and what does/does not work for them and taking my time but also understanding they really don’t want to be there in the first place!
