• Provide nursing care for individuals undergoing cath lab procedures both routinely and emergently including but not limited to) LHC, RHC, pacemaker (TTP, PPM, ICD and ILR) placement, Afib/SVT/Vtach ablations, Watchman LAAC device implants, PCI (routine, complex and emergent)
• Familiar with utilization of the following equipment/devices during produre: Shockwave, Penumbra, Inari, Rotoblader, CSI, Impella and IABP, IVUS, FFR, & IFR
• Improved patient outcomes by accurately interpreting and analyzing cardiac catheterization data, assessing patient's hemodynamics in anticipation of potential decline with understanding of and ability to quickly administer rescue medications as well as medications to maintain patient's anticoagulation and appropriate moderate sedation;
• Consistently received positive feedback from colleagues supporting team relationships including closed loop respectful communication. Covered 24/7 call for cardiac emergencies including STEMIs performing ACLS as needed; Proficient in nursing circulating and monitoring utilizing McKesson Hemodynamic System; experience documenting utilizing Epic and Cerner;
• Admitted, pre oped, post oped, and discharged cardiac cath patients including femoral arterial site monitoring as well as radial artery recovery. Experience nursing TEE and cardioversion procedures;
• Provided education to patients and families regarding cardiovascular health issues and post-procedure care.

Primary role was providing intraprocedural nursing care to cath lab patients as listed above excluding EP procedures, TEEs/CVs, & pre and post op care. Including monitoring, documenting and circulating as well as covering overnight call for emergencies.

Administrator responsible for maintaining Chest Pain Center with 24/7 PCI & Resuscitation Accreditation from the American College of Cardiology including collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes through evidence based practice of continually decreasing door to balloon, troponin turn around, door to EKG and STEMI EKG to cath lab activation times. Received Reaccreditation in October 2024. This was a hybrid position wherein I continued to work as a cath lab RN during my time as a coordinator.

Performed same duties as listed above as well as utilized US guided access placing peripheral IVs and midlines. Currently pick up shifts and cover call PRN
