• Lab Operations Management:

Supervise and manage the daily workflow of the embryology, andrology, and endocrinology lab.
Oversee IVF procedures, including oocyte retrieval, sperm preparation, fertilization, embryo culture, and cryopreservation. Ensure all equipment is calibrated, maintained, and functioning properly.

• Leadership and Staff Supervision

Train, mentor, and evaluate junior embryologists, and laboratory staff. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide guidance on complex cases. Foster a collaborative and efficient working environment.

• Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance

Implement and maintain compliance with national regulations, CAP/CLIA. Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory documentation.

• Patient care and consultation:

Communicate with patients to explain their embryo status and cycle results.

Provide updates on fertilization outcomes and freezing procedures. Support physicians in patient care strategies and decision-making.

• Technical Expertise

Perform and supervise advanced procedures such as ICSI, embryo biopsy for PGT, and blastocyst vitrification.
Develop and optimize lab protocols to improve success rates and efficiency.

• Lab Safety and Risk Management

Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to safety standards. Identify potential risks and implement preventive measures.

• Assessed and graded health and development of embryos through morphologic evaluation.
• Followed strict laboratory procedures to collect pertinent data and document QC activities.

• Executed processes such as embryo transfers, oocyte fertilization, oocyte retrieval, sperm injection (ICSI), assisting hatching (AH) and sperm preparation.
