I have been a healthcare professional for 27 years. Working as a Physician Assistant allowed me to hone my diagnostic skills while becoming an effective communicator and educator. Patient education is a significant part of my job, and it is the part I enjoy the most. I think this is why I have enjoyed my role as a high school teacher over the last two years. I've been able to combine my love of science and medicine with teaching in a supportive and collaborative environment.
