I have been a healthcare professional for 27 years. Working as a Physician Assistant allowed me to hone my diagnostic skills while becoming an effective communicator and educator. Patient education is a significant part of my job, and it is the part I enjoy the most. I think this is why I have enjoyed my role as a high school teacher over the last two years. I've been able to combine my love of science and medicine with teaching in a supportive and collaborative environment. I teach Biology, Anatomy/Physiology, and Medical Science at Oak Grove Lutheran School. I love inspiring the next generation of scientists and medical professionals!
