Currently precepting as a medic new to this service to provide pre hospital emergency medical care to medical and trauma patients

• Managed the care of post-op open heart patients in the intensive care setting, including patients receiving interventions such as mechanical ventilation, CRRT, LVADs, Swan-Ganz catheters, central lines, arterial lines, and pressor/inotrope management. Soon to be oriented to the care of ECMO patients

• Provided pre-hospital emergency medical treatment to medical and trauma patients according to CT paramedic protocols and under the medical direction of St. Mary’s Hospital

• Triaged and provided nursing care to patients of all ages in a busy urban trauma center ER. Stabilized critically ill patients prior to transfer to ICU, including patients suffering from cardiac arrests, strokes, trauma, and other illnesses. Functioned independently as charge nurse supervising the unit and managing the flow of patients through the ER

• Provided nursing care to critically ill neonates, from 23 weeks gestation to term, requiring post resuscitation stabilization, respiratory support, and multiple medical interventions

• Resuscitated newborns at delivery. Provided Level II NICU care. Managed the nursing care of women during labor and delivery and functioned as circulating RN during C-section deliveries
